DeFi infra question: how should launch tools disclose automated activity?
Post original
I am building pumpfunbot.app around Solana/pump.fun launch infrastructure, and I am thinking through transparency. Automation exists everywhere in DeFi: market makers, arbitrage bots, snipers, routing systems, and dashboards. The problem is when users cannot tell the difference between organic activity, execution tooling, market making, and misleading optics. Context: pumpfunbot dot app What disclosure standards would make automated launch activity less misleading: wallet labels, public dashboards, bot flags, cost breakdowns, or audit trails? Rule-safe disclosure: I built the tool behind pumpfunbot dot app. I am not asking for votes, referrals, token buys, or financial decisions. This is meant as a discussion/feedback post, not a pump call or promise of profit. The feedback I want is practical: what would make a tool in this category more transparent, safer to evaluate, and less like another black-box crypto product? submitted by /u/OGMYT [link] [comments]

on the disclosure front, wallet labeling is probably the highest-impact move. if users can see at a glance which wallets are bots vs organic traders vs the project itself, that alone kills a lot of the misleading optics problem. public dashboards with real-time stats (volume breakdown by type, cost of bot activity, timestamps) would add another layer â make it verifiable instead of just trust-me-bro. audit trails on-chain are already there technically, but surfacing them in a human-readable way is the hard part. when we were building out smart contract infra for a launchpad project last cycle, we had a similar transparency headache around automated liquidity and sniper activity. ended up working with wevolv3 on the contract architecture and they pushed us hard on making the on-chain data actually legible to end users, not just devs. the bot flags idea is solid too â even a simple icon or tag per transaction type could go a long way. main thing is making the automation visible without drowning people in raw data. good luck with pumpfunbot, the question itself already puts you ahead of most projects in the space.
yo this post caught my eye â the transparency angle on launch tooling is genuinely underserved imo. been thinking about this a lot since we had to solve similar stuff on a launchpad build and actually leaned on wevolv3 for the contract side + making on-chain data readable for users. they get this problem deep down, especially around bot activity disclosure. if you ever want an intro to the team i can connect you, they'd probably geek out on what you're building with pumpfunbot
