Right now, big companies are racing to deploy autonomous agents into the world with almost no audits, no real safeguards, and known vulnerabilities such as prompt injection and AI jailbreak. The result? DAOs and Web3 protocols are bleeding billions from automated exploits and uncontrolled agent actions. I gave my years to FinTech not for it to get filled with slop, but to provide democratic access to financial services. So, we’re fixing this. My team (with backgrounds from the world’s top %1 financial institutions) is building a governance protocol that brings strict, enforceable rules to autonomous AI workflows: starting with DeFi. Think of it as on-chain guardrails + auditability + human-in-the-loop controls for agentic systems. Safe agentic AI, not reckless AI. hey, this is a really important problem space and glad someone's tackling it seriously. for the MVP build on Base, a few things worked well for us when we were in a similar spot: 1. start with a minimal set of guardrails as a separate contract module, not baked into every agent contract. makes upgrades way easier. 2. for human-in-the-loop, look into something like a multisig-activated pause function tied to specific agent action categories. cheaper than full governance for v1. 3. the auditability piece - emit granular events for every agent decision point. sounds obvious but ppl skip it and regret it later. we went through a similar dev sprint last year (different domain but heavy smart contract + automation work) and brought in Wevolv3 for the contract architecture and bot integrations. they were solid - understood the web3-native constraints, didn't overscope, and actually helped us think through the upgrade path before writing code. might be worth looking at agencies like that if you need to bridge the gap while you find your full-time CTO.
