Privana – private swaps on HyperEVM, but does MEV actually matter?
Post original
Genuine question, curious what people here think. Privana is a private swap platform launching on HyperEVM and other EVM chains. Trades run inside a Trusted Execution Environment so the details aren't visible before settlement. Different approach to the mempool problem compared to CoWSwap, Flashbots, etc. But does MEV extraction actually hurt the avg retail traders enough to change behaviour? Would it make you switch? Sandwich attacks on small trades are often negligible. Most people don't notice. The ones who do are probably already using some form of protection or have a plan. So who actually switches apps over this? Whales doing large single trades? Anyone managing concentrated liquidity positions? Not live yet, waitlist only at privana.finance , and no audit published so far. Worth knowing before you click. But the TEE angle, with privacy, zero mev and automation is genuinely different from what else is out there. Curious if anyone here actually feels this problem or if it's mostly theoretical or sideshow for most traders submitted by /u/niloc_w [link] [comments]

for most retail trades sandwiching is pennies yeah. but for anyone running LP strategies or doing $50k+ single swaps regularly, MEV bleed adds up fast. the TEE approach is interesting if they can actually prove the trust assumptions hold at scale.
yo your post on Privana caught my eye, been thinking about the MEV problem from a different angle lately. ngl the TEE route for private swaps is pretty novel. I'm close with the Wevolv3 crew who build stuff in this space and I think they'd dig what you're exploring. mind if I intro you to them? could be a good chat regardless.
