Post original

Looking for some honest feedback. I previously built and exited an apparel brand where influencer marketing was one of our primary growth channels. I'm now launching an influencer marketing and creative strategy agency for micro DTC brands in the US and UK. One thing I've noticed is that many agencies optimize for volume. My experience as a founder was different. When it's your own money on the line, you care less about vanity metrics and more about whether creator partnerships are actually driving business results. A few ways we're planning to differentiate: - Strong focus on creator discovery and vetting - In-house team to maintain quality of influencer list rather than relying on outsourced VAs (many big agencies outsource creator vetting & outreach) - Influencer marketing + creative strategy under one roof The goal is to operate more like an extension of a brand's team than a traditional agency. Pricing will be around $3k/month. My question: would this positioning resonate with you, or is there something else you'd look for when evaluating an agency partner? submitted by /u/manujj199 [link] [comments]
