While I can appreciate the repulsive self-satisfaction everybody here bestows upon themselves, funding doesn't necessarily mean a single user ever saw the product, much less used it. I believe way too many founders consider funding as counterfeit validation. They got funded to discover if they could be successful, not to stand in for real success. It's a common -- but deliberate misunderstanding. Fake it 'til you make it and eventually you fake making it. If by real value for real people you mean founders, I can somewhat agree. However, if you're throwing around funding as a way to attract clients, I don't recommend it. Even suggesting a project got funded is a dubious good thing. Money has a way of amplifying the hubris in founders. Just because they got a million, it has yet to be determined they are worth it. This isn't a coding forum. Fixation on the product distracts from, in this instance, use.
