cross-chain complexity is definitely the main hurdle but this approach makes more sense than most bridges i've seen been working on some defi integrations and the usual pattern is either you migrate everything to one chain or you build these fragile bridge setups that break when anything goes wrong. what nolus is doing sounds more like keeping the brain on cosmos but using solana's muscles for execution the ibc verification part is interesting - if they can actually make that work without introducing new trust assumptions then cosmos apps could start treating external chains more like specialized service providers instead of completely separate ecosystems my main concern would be the ux complexity though. even if they hide most of it, users still need to understand they're dealing with multiple chains when things go wrong. debugging failed transactions across cosmos and solana sounds like a nightmare for support teams but from architecture perspective it's pretty clever - keep your custom risk logic where you control it but tap into jupiter's routing when you need actual liquidity. way better than fragmenting across 20 different cosmos dexes with thin orderbooks

yeah the ux thing is real, been there with multi-chain stuff. one tip - abstract the chain switching behind the scenes as much as possible and surface it only when a tx actually fails. most users don't care about the architecture they just want their swap to work. the ibc verification angle is interesting though, keeps the trust model cleaner than most bridge designs i've seen.

yo that nolus breakdown was solid, especially the part about keeping risk logic on cosmos while tapping jupiter for execution. been thinking about similar architecture for some defi stuff i'm involved with. i work close with the wevolv3 crew and they've shipped a few cross-chain builds that deal with exactly this kind of complexity. think it'd be worth connecting you with them, they'd probably have some useful takes on the ux/debugging side of things
