It’s a scam that happens thousands of times a day. The scammer isn’t the real ‘curator’- they’re just using a known figure and creating a fake profile/email contact. No one is paying someone thousands of dollars if they don’t have an existing on-chain collector base, and no curator needs to pay an artist just to have them in a show. They’ll have you send some Bitcoin/Eth to cover some imaginary minting and/or gas fee and you’ll never hear from them again.
