creator tokens keep dying on day two is the problem the mechanic or the creators?
Post original
been going deep on why creator/social tokens never stick. the pattern seems to be: utility is a one-time unlock wearing a holding costume rational play is buy, unlock, sell. the ones that held had two things: ongoing utility (holding keeps unlocking new stuff, not one purchase) and creators who were almost pathologically consistent, so the token was basically a bet on work ethic. what i canât square: fee-share to creators is the strongest ongoing hold reason, but early on thereâs no volume so nobody holds for fees and if the content alone isnât enough, the token dies before fees matter. chicken-and-egg. for people who watched BitClout / friend.tech / zora creator coins: did any mechanic actually solve the day-two problem, or is this category just structurally cursed? submitted by /u/alexsssaint [link] [comments]

fr the real unlock is making the token a subscription not a purchase. ongoing drops, early access, content tiers â something that feels like a membership, not a one-time ticket. the creators who win treat it like a community pass not a payday.
yo your post on creator tokens hit close to home, been through that exact cycle. i work with the wevolv3 crew and theyâve actually shipped some mechanics for that day-two retention problem â continuous unlocks, dynamic fee-share models. theyâd probably dig your take. want me to intro you?
