Hey everyone, I’m working on PDFjet.dev , a tool that converts PDFs into cleaner formats like Markdown, CSV, Word, and searchable PDFs. I’m curious how people here are handling PDF-heavy marketing workflows. A lot of useful content still lives inside PDFs: whitepapers reports case studies ebooks brochures research papers client decks lead magnets analytics exports sales collateral The problem is that PDFs are not always easy to reuse. Copy/paste can break formatting. Tables get messy. Headers and footers get repeated. Columns merge together. Scanned PDFs need OCR. And if you’re trying to turn a PDF into blog posts, landing page copy, email campaigns, SEO content, or social posts, the cleanup step can take longer than it should. That’s the problem I’m trying to solve with PDFjet.dev. The goal is simple: Take a PDF and turn it into cleaner, editable formats that are easier to reuse in marketing workflows. Current outputs include: Markdown for content repurposing CSV for tables and data Word for editable docs searchable PDFs MCP support for Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools I’d love feedback from marketers, agencies, content teams, and freelancers. What do you currently use to extract or repurpose content from PDFs? What’s annoying about the process? Would a tool like this be useful in your workflow? submitted by /u/LongjumpingScale73 [link] [comments]
