Appreciate this, it is a useful way to frame it. The "verifiable ground truth for autonomous agents" angle is exactly how I think about it too. Hallucinated citations are the real problem, and a provenance URL on every record that an agent can independently check against sec.gov or the issuing source is the cleanest answer I could come up with. Leading with that over "data marketplace" makes sense. The point about closing the loop with a recorded demo is the one I am taking most to heart. One agent calling OSF, paying, and getting back a cited SEC filing or CVE is worth more than any amount of describing the system. That is a concrete thing I can build and show, and you are right that judges want to watch the loop actually close. Honestly I have been heads down on the production side lately, making the stack solid and self healing before I draw a crowd to it, so I had not been thinking about competitions. But you make a strong case. CDP and Base plus agentic data is about as aligned with where things are headed as it gets right now, and a live working implementation instead of a prototype is a real edge. I am going to look into whether there is an active Coinbase CDP hackathon, that does sound like the most natural fit, and the ETHGlobal agentic track is a good call too.
