I am a programmer and AI Engineer. AI is great, AI helps you ship fast and AI allows you to learn nothing. If you want to build a serious product it is crucial that you really know what to ship. Only in that way you can prevent weird bugs I see all over products in this sub. I know it is hard to use it less. I feel you, i have been there. In case you need some help check out use-less-ai.com it is a free tool I have built that asks you to reflect on why you want to use AI and prevents you from using it for every little task. There are also usage statistic so you know how much AI you use across all your tools. I have just finished the website and i actually used the tool to prevent me from vibe coding it completely.
