so i've been running this little experiment for the past few weeks. tracking like 20 accounts in my niche. same size, same content style, same target audience. wanted to see what actually works for growth in 2026. and the results are honestly kinda depressing. most of these accounts are growing way faster than me. like 2-3x faster. and when i looked closer at what they're doing... it's not better content. it's not better engagement. they're literally just buying their way up. saw one account go from 3k to 8k in like 3 weeks. and their content is average at best. but their engagement numbers look healthy so the algorithm pushes them more. it's a cycle. i'm not saying i'm gonna do it. but it's frustrating to know that the - organic game is basically rigged. you either play the same game or stay behind. honestly feels like growth hacking in 2026 is just... finding the least sketchy way to fake it until you make it. idk. maybe i'm just salty. anyone else noticing this?   submitted by   /u/DeagleDanne [link]   [comments]
