Does anyone here actually trade equity perps on a perp DEX?

Honest question, asking because I'm building in this space and I'm genuinely unsure whether the demand is real or just liquidity theater. My background: first bitcoin in 2017. Been through multiple ATHs and every drawdown since. Luna. FTX. The ETF rally. Trump. Plenty of stories. But I have never bought a single stock in my life. Earlier this year that started to bother me. Semis were ripping while crypto bled out, and for the first time in my crypto career I felt like I was standing in the wrong room. So I started looking at equities... and immediately realized I had no idea what I was doing. Not the mechanics. The mechanics are easy. The problem is that in crypto I know *why* things move: unlocks, funding, narratives, whatever CT is screaming about that week. In equities I have none of that. A ticker moves 6% and I have no framework for it. Equity perps on Hyperliquid solve the access problem. But access was never my problem. Understanding was. So I've been building a frontend that focuses on that: explaining *why* an equity perp moved, in language a crypto trader already speaks. What I actually want to know from this sub: - Are you trading equity perps? What got you in, or what kept you out? - Is the liquidity good enough to size up, or is it still a toy? - If you're a crypto native who moved into equities, how did you build a view? Did you just start reading earnings reports like a normal person? traded a bit on hyperliquid but honestly the spread and liquidity issues make it rough for anything serious. the understanding gap is real tho - i basically treat equity perps like high-beta crypto plays and lean on macro CT accounts for the narrative side. your frontend idea could actually fill that gap for ppl like me.
gm anon saw your post on equity perps and honestly felt that - been in crypto since 2017 too and equities still feel like a foreign language sometimes. the frontend you're building sounds legit, filling that context gap for crypto natives is something the space actually needs. i'm pretty close with the wevolv3 team, they ship this kind of product fast and really get the founder perspective. might be worth connecting you with them if you want, no pressure at all just think the vibes would match.
