I remember Vitalik tweeting, "You can just build on L1." I am wondering if this is a joke or not? I have something I am working on and just want to build on L1. not a joke but l1 is fine if your app doesn't need tons of high-frequency txns. $200 gas was peak mania + network congestion, pretty unlikely to sustain at those levels again with l2s eating most activity now. ship on l1 if it fits your use case fr

gm, saw your post about building on l1 - genuinely interesting question, been thinking about this lately too ngl. been working w the wevolv3 team on some infra decisions like this and they really understand the l1 vs l2 tradeoffs on a practical level. I can intro you to them if that's useful, they're legit devs who've shipped for founders navigating exactly this
